About the Series: A Grounded Introduction for Beginners
This Intro to Tai Chi is a 5-week progressive series designed specifically for beginners or those returning to movement after time away. Each class builds on the foundational principles and movements from the week before offering a structured, supportive learning experience.
You’ll develop:
A solid introduction to Tai Chi fundamentals
Awareness of posture, breath, and flow
A deeper connection to your body and its natural rhythm
Confidence and calm through accessible, repeatable movements
A gentle start to powerful change.
Class Details
5 week series week on Fridays. 3-3:50pm
Dates:
Current series: 5/1, 5/8. 5/15, 5/29,6/5
Format: In-person, small group
Level: Beginner (no prior Tai Chi experience needed)
Location: Root to Rise Studio Scarborough, ME
Investment: $90 for the entire series
We ask students to wear clean sneakers, grip socks, or practice barefoot.
